Nutrients are important for every single biochemical process in the human body. Adequate provision of protein, fats, particular carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, trace elements, phyto -and zoo chemicals impacts all physiological processes.

Unfortunately, symptoms of both nutritional deficiencies and excesses are often vague, or present as a whole body inadequacy. Over years, disease conditions may arise as a result of over-and/or under-provision of nutrients. Diabetes, Heart Disease, Cancer, Depression, Chronic Fatigue, Alzheimer, Autism Spectrum and – other learning and behaviour disorders….

Even where a disease condition has arisen as a result of exposure to a particular virus or bacteria (communicable diseases) – nutritional status will influence your body’s ability to ‘cope’ with said condition in most instances.

It’s time to dish up nutrition in a different way! There’s no one size fits all! What works for one, won’t for another. It’s vital to understand that ideal nutrition is a personal journey – the pace, direction and scenery influenced by each person’s unique circumstances, habits, history, genetic make-up and most importantly, current nutritional status!

After more than 20 years of clinical practice as registered dietician, I stand in awe of the power of nutritional intervention and treatment. This has fueled and continues to fuel my unending passion for investigating, finding, understanding and treating each person’s individual and unique nutrition ‘why’.

I want to invite you to let me guide your journey. Whether it is to learn more about eating your way to better health, have more vitality, age gracefully or any other ‘why’ ………(write here what you would like to achieve, or your ‘WHY’). It’s important to get the right fit – food-and otherwise – for YOU!
